BrainDance is a flexible framework of movement patterns developed by Anne Green Gilbert as a warm-up or energizing movement break. It is highly adaptable and can be tailored to suit any age/ability. This workshop provides a foundational understanding of the science behind the BrainDance. Participants will experience the many benefits of doing this unique exercise: reorganization of the neurological system; increased blood and oxygen flow to the respiratory system and brain; enhanced core support, connectivity, and alignment; and deeper understanding of the elements of dance technique.
