Nurturing Baby

For infants 2 months-pre-walking

This class focuses on fun and appropriate movements for building baby’s body and brain. Playful social/emotional connections are made as you and baby dance together and with others. Explore dance concepts using multi-sensory props and instruments. Sing nursery rhymes and move to a wide variety of music. Learn how to support and encourage tummy-time so baby can move through the early developmental patterns that wire the central nervous system and brain. Caregivers are always welcome.

Clothing
Adults: comfortable, non-restrictive clothes and bare feet.
Infants: onesie and bare feet.

Spring Session 2012: Nurturing Baby Class Schedule

• 10 Week Spring Session: March 28-June 9, 2012
• Vacation Dates: no classes April 16-22, May 28
• Visiting Weeks: April 2-7 and June 5-11, 2012

Parent/Toddler – Parent/Child

Dancing together with your child while exploring movement activities and practicing skills is not only lots of fun but very educational. Activities are taught that can be explored at home. A wide variety of music, props, and rhythm instruments add to the playful environment and learning. Skill development becomes more challenging in Parent/Child class. Caregivers are always welcome. If siblings six-months-old and older attend, they must be registered as a student for half price. These Adult/Youth classes run as two 16 week sessions, Fall/Winter and Winter/Spring, and one 5 week Summer Session. 

Clothing:
Adults: comfortable, non-restrictive clothes, bare feet.
Children: dance or play clothes (leggings, t-shirts, etc.), bare feet.

Parent/Toddler
